Is a Poker Cruise Expensive?
The answer is a resounding NO. Cruising is one of the most affordable luxury vacations you can take. In fact, when you factor in all the free food and other freebies and amenities, it is much cheaper than a trip to Vegas. On average it runs a little less than $100 a day per person, including taxes and gratuities.
What About Getting Seasick?
If you know you are prone to seasickness, we strongly advise you to buy some sort of seasickness medication with you and take it BEFORE you get sick in order for it to be most effective. If you don't know how you will react and happen to get seasick, the purser onboard will always have free seasickness pills available for you.
What Kind of Players do you Have?
We have players of all levels from tournament champs to beginners. We welcome all players from every level.
What is the poker room like?
We pride ourselves on our Professional Staff, each Cruise has Professional Tournament Director, Dealers
Floor Staff, Brushers, Cashiers. Bar Servers.
Our Poker Rooms are not over crowded, well lite, none smoking, with a designated smoking area and bathrooms steps away.
The one thing we insist on is running a clean, safe, enjoyable poker room. Everyone is expected to play by the rules and follow the rules. Cheating or abusive behavior of any type is not tolerated.
Do I need a Passport?
Passport or Birth Certificate and Drivers License, (Pictured ID) is all you need.
It is highly recommended to get a passport if you are going on any of the cruises. Our cruises are “closed-loop” cruises, which means that we begin and end our cruise at the same port, making a closed-loop. In a case like this, entering by sea, a passport is not required; technically you only need a drivers license or other official government-issued photo ID, PLUS an original or copy of your birth certificate, US naturalization certificate or certificate of citizenship in order to re-enter the US. However again, we strongly recommend getting a passport in order to prevent having any problems at either border and because it is the best form of ID and proof of citizenship for re-entry to the US. As of March, 1, 2010, Canadian citizens are required to have a valid passport for entry into Mexico by any form of travel, so if you are Canadian, you must have a passport.
